Favorite Sandwich Shops in Utah!

Sandwiches have been my favorite food ever since I was little. For lunches at school I'd take a baloney, egg salad or turkey sandwich every day! I even worked at a sandwich shop when I got older. If I had the choice I'd eat sandwiches every time we go out or for lunches. I have found a few of my favorite places to grab a sandwich here in Utah!

Capriotti’s

Fun fact, my husband and I met while we worked at Capriotti’s. Not only did we fall in love with each other we fell in love with the sandwiches too. I still crave these sandwiches and it's been years since we worked there. My favorites are the turkey, the Capistrami and the cheesesteak sandwiches.  They put coleslaw and Russian dressing on the Capistrami which gives it a yummy flavor. My husband goes for the hot Bobby and the cheese steak. Honestly, we have tried every sandwich they have and I would get any of them again. They cook their turkey and meatballs in house which makes it that much better. It is a little pricey for their sandwiches but way worth it

Grove Market and Deli

Ok, this is the best Deli in town. It is located in Salt Lake in a little corner market store. You can get old fashioned sodas and any kind of hot sauce you would ever want. It has the deli in the back of the store. I get the fish sandwich which is imitation crab and avocados. All their sandwiches come on a French bread loaf, making them quite the sandwich size. My parents would get one to share when I was little and I would eat all the crab, cheese and avocado that would fall off onto their plates. They had to cave and buy an extra to share with me as I got older because I loved them so much! They aren’t even a whole ten dollars for that big of a sandwich, so even a great deal on top of how good the food is. This is a fun place to make memories.

Moochie's

Moochie's is known for their cheesesteak sandwiches and meatball subs. I love the cheesesteak with peppers and mushrooms added, but my husband gets his plain. I don't think they have a lot of flavor without the extras, but whatever works for you. They have some house made sauces known to Moochie's and other sandwich options as well. We really like the french fries too!

Jersey Mike's Subs

We finally went and tried Jersey Mike's Subs and they were so good! I don't know why we haven't been before. My husband got the Chicken Philly Cheese Sub and I got the Original Philly Cheese Steak Sub. They have super soft bread, the onions and peppers were perfectly cooked. The cheese is really creamy which makes it saucy. If you don't like cheese like my husband, then get it with half the cheese or none at all. I went back another time and got a Tuna Sub and really enjoyed that one as well! It is a bit pricey for their sandwiches here, but it was really good.
