Smoothies in Utah!

My husband and I are addicted to smoothies! Our poor bank account! We have a lot of favorite smoothie shops in Utah, but we also have found some good stuff to make at home. Here is my favorites list for smoothies and Acai bowls in Utah and what we use to make at home smoothies, too!

Roxberry: Roxberry is now all over Utah. My husband and I use to go to Roxberry at least once a week, especially when we lived so close to one. We have tried so many flavors, but my favorites are the Ocean Breeze, Tropical Twist, or the Peachy Keen. My husband loves the LOL Lime, Pomegranate Perfection, and the Dragonmist. The Dominator Acai bowl is both of our favorites. They sometimes have a mystery smoothie that is mixed with the leftovers from the smoothies for a really good sale price.

Keva Juice: We live by a Keva Juice in Bountiful, UT now! We have really enjoyed these smoothies, too! I love the Citrus sunrise the best! My husband has tried a few different ones and have liked them all. These smoothies are very affordable and all come in one size. There are a few locations in others states as well.

SoulFull: (Permanently closed) There is a little smoothie and healthy food shop in Richmond, Utah. They have a few smoothies and bowls on their menu. This is a healthier option of a smoothie so the flavors are very strong, but it was good. I got the Coconut and Orange juice smoothie that was really good. My husband tried one with Peanut butter and acai which was an interesting combination, but he enjoyed it. They give you a card with a quote on it to feed your soul mentally as well as the nutrient food for your body.

Glorias: We had an acai bowl and smoothie from Glorias in Moab, Utah. My husband really likes the healthier ingredient smoothies which is what Glorias is like. We each tried a smoothie and then he went back for an Acai bowl another time. I got the Tango Mango which had Peaches, bananas, mango juice, and coconut. My husband got the Cranberry Delight which was cranberry juice, Strawberries, Blueberries , Raspberry sherbet, and bananas. The Acai bowl was just acai as the base and then the toppings. The little restaurant is very cute there too!

Everbowl: This is the number one in my book for Acai bowls in Utah! Everbowl is a create your own style place. You pick the base flavor and then add any topping you want. I really like the vanilla, coconut or the acai flavored smoothie bases. I add different toppings every time, but my favorite is the cocoa nibs. The price isn't the best here, but the flavors are so worth it!

Gaia's Garden Café: Our favorite Acai bowl place in St. George closed down, so we had to find a new spot. We were pretty impressed with Gaia's Garden Café for an acai bowl. They have very fresh, healthy, and natural ingredients. I got an acai bowl with date caramel and fresh peanut butter on top with fruits. My husband went with the peanut butter and almonds and fruits. We both liked this spot and will be going back again next time!

Tropical Smoothie Café: Tropical Smoothie Café is a fun smoothie shop that has lots of options. I like that this is one size and for a good price. We love getting this in St. George, but there are a few locations throughout Utah. I like the Sunrise Sunset Smoothie. My husband has tried tons of the flavors and have liked them all.

Protein Foundry: My husband and I tried Protein Foundry when we lived in Daybreak, Utah. There are a few locations though. It was my first time trying Cocoa nibs and didn't love them at first, but now they are my favorites to put onto smoothie bowls. I did feel like this was very expensive for the amount you get, but it was a good base and you could add any toppings too.

Bahama Bucks: This is an interesting kind of smoothie, but they are good. I tried a sweets smoothie my first time going to Bahama Bucks which was called a Wavebender. It is a cream based smoothie so kind of like a milk shake with more fruit flavors than sweet. I tried a Strawberry Banana smoothie which was good! It's a fun little place and has snow cone options along with the smoothies. This is more of a treat option than a healthy morning smoothie though.

Ivie Juice Bar: Yum, Yum, Yum! Ivie Juice Bar is one of my favorite acai bowl spots I've been to. They have granola on the bottom, with a really good acai smoothie base and then they added pineapple on top which I had never had. I associate this with summer from the flavors. The size isn't my favorite, I always want one more bite, but that's a good problem to have.

I Love Moo: I Love Moo is an ice cream and smoothie shop in Park City, Utah. It's such a cute store and the smoothies and bowls are really good. I like that they put granola on the bottom and the acai smoothie is good. The smoothies are really good and come with a fun fat straw.

Acai Packets: I love the Acai packs from Trader Joe's, Sprouts or sometimes Costco has them. We just use half a packet in our smoothies and acai bowls. The Costco ones come in bulk so they are cheaper and they break up a little easier being frozen. The one's at Trader Joe's are really good, but are hard to break up when they are frozen.

Frozen Fruit: We get our frozen fruit bags from Costco or Sam's Club. They have been the cheapest I have found and you get the most for your money. I do like to freeze our fresh fruit when they start to get too ripe. It works well with blueberries, bananas, and strawberries. The strawberries from Sam's Club are my favorite since they are sliced. It makes it easy to fit in my smoothie cup and blends up easily.

Ka'Chava: My husband's parents showed us Ka'Chava and we now love it! It has a really unique flavor, but works with a lot of different fruits. You can use this as a food supplement drink and just add water. We make it as a smoothie and just add about half of the serving for the flavor more than a meal supplement. This is a pricey product, but it has been so good.

Acai Juice: There is an Acai juice that we get from Costco that really is so good. They have a dragonfuit juice, pomegranate and the Acai juice that we have tried. I really like the juice in our smoothies and bowls at home. If you catch them when they are on sale, I feel like it is a really good price.

What smoothie places have you found? Any cool smoothie products you love?
