Coffee Shops in Kentucky!

Kentucky is known for some really neat coffee shops. Everyone we have been to has a whole vibe of moody, artistic, and their own spin on the coffee and non-coffee options. I have been on the look out for the best hot chocolate and steamers, while my husband has been falling in love with the new coffee flavors around town. We haven't been to all of the options here yet, but so far we have loved every shop we have tried. Here are the coffee shops we have visited and the things we have gotten.

Quills Coffee

This is our number one shop out of our options in Kentucky. My husband tried the Bourbon Caramel Coffee and has dreamt about it since. This is the coffee shop we stop at the most in town. Each location has really cool themes and are all a little different. It's kind of a fun thing to go try a new shop each time to see the décor. They do not have very many non coffee option here, but I did like the hot chocolate. During the fall they have a pumpkin steamer that has real pumpkin in it which tasted so good! They put a little heart on all of their drinks so that's always fun. This is a good place to start if you are new to the area. They do have homemade pastries in shop that all look delicious.

Please & Thank You

Our first coffee shop in Kentucky when we visited was Please & Thank You. They have an adorable store in NuLu area of downtown Louisville. They do have another location that we haven't tried yet. My husband got the honey coffee and said it was one of his favorites he has had. They have a Mexican hot chocolate on their menu so that is what I got the first time, but they do have a regular hot chocolate that they can make. I did prefer the regular plain hot chocolate, but that is only because that is what I prefer in general. The chocolate chip cookies are the best from there. You can taste all the ingredients and it is cooked perfectly!  They have a few different bakery items to pick from along with all the drink options.

Heine Brothers Coffee

I was surprised at how much I liked the Frappuccino's from here! I got my first pumpkin frap from Heine Bros Coffee this last fall season and loved every slurp of it. They have lots of options for coffee and non-coffee drinks. I am excited to have one a little close to us, so we can try lots more flavors! The prices here were on the higher side, but so worth it! They have a few locations around Kentucky with drive through's too!

North Lime Coffee and Donuts

This is another favorite coffee shop here in Kentucky of mine. My husband was hesitant going here since they do donuts too, but he ended up loving his drink. I got my first hot pumpkin steamer of the season from here. The drinks are very good priced and they have a variety of options to choose from. I was impressed with their non-coffee drink options. While we were there I got a glazed square donut that was yummy! The dough is very soft and has a good flavor. They rotate flavors weekly, so a lot of options to try.

Deez Beanz Coffee

My husband picked me up a Pumpkin Steamer from here on birthday this year! This coffee shop is one that has every single flavor you can think of. You are able to make whatever kind of drink you are looking for. They did a great job on my pumpkin steamer with the perfect amount of flavor. I am looking forward to trying more combinations for steamers from there. My husband got a coffee drink with flavoring and really liked it when he went.
