I was so excited to move close to a Panera here in Kentucky! They are all over the state. I first had Panera in Minnesota. It would be our little meeting spot every once in awhile with someone from our church. We would all three split an Orange scone and I loved it! Utah finally got a location that isn't just in the airport right after we moved to Kentucky. Funny how that worked out! Panera has a great bakery selection. I have been dying to try all of their bakery items! Here are all of the bakery items I have tried from Panera!
Orange Scone
Chocolate Croissant
My husband was travelling while we were back in Utah and picked me up a chocolate Croissant from the airport Panera! It had the perfect crispy outside and soft inside. I really liked the chocolate drizzle on top. The ratio of croissant dough to chocolate was just the right amount. They have plain croissants, a bear claw or a pecan braid that you can pick from!
Frosted Shortbread Cookie
Every season there is a different shortbread cookie option. I tried the pumpkin shaped cookie during the fall and loved it! There is a hint of lemon in the frosting! Don't bite into it thinking it's a sugar cookie or you will be disappointed. It is great if you know it's a shortbread cookie though! They have tulips right now for the spring season!
Cinnamon Crunch Bagel
My all time favorite bagel is the Cinnamon Crunch bagel from Panera! It was my go-to back in Minnesota and was something I craved over the years! Now I can get them anytime I want! The top is covered with cinnamon and sugar and has a little bit of a sugary crisp when it is toasted. The bagel bread is soft and chewy. They have three different cream cheeses to pick from. These are awesome plain too! They have a bunch of flavors to pick from. I have never tried another kind, because this one is too good to not get!
Baguet
Anytime you order an entree you have the option of getting a baguet on the side. They have such good bread! It is my favorite to eat dipped in their soup or just by itself is yummy too! You can buy a full loaf or get it as a side with your meal. They have a bunch of different bread options that come in loaves, Baguets and rolls.
Sourdough Bread Soup Bowl
This is my favorite bread option from the Panera Bakery! It is the perfect little soup bowl. The center that they pull out of the middle is so soft and just melts in your mouth. I love dipping the bread into the Broccoli and Cheddar soup that they have. There are a bunch of soup flavors to pick with your soup bowl. You can still get a baguet on the side with the soup bowl. You can never have too much bread for soup!
What are your favorite bakery items at Panera?
