Taste Testing Blue Bell Ice Cream Flavors!

Blue Bell Ice Cream was a new brand for me when we moved to Kentucky! I grew up in the west and we don't have these there! I will never be the same again! Their ice cream is so creamy and has such good flavors. I haven't had a flavor that I haven't liked. You can find these at most grocery stores throughout Kentucky. Kroger has deals on them often so that is our go-to store for our ice cream runs! 

Mint Chocolate Chip 

Mint Chocolate Chip was the first flavor we bought in Kentucky! The ice cream is mint flavored and a green color with chunks of dark chocolate. The flavoring isn't too strong of mint. I really liked how creamy the ice cream is and having a crunch of chocolate. This is probably my favorite flavor we have had from Blue Bell so far! 

Ultimate Neapolitan

We got Neapolitan for my birthday! It has vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream. The vanilla and chocolate are smooth and creamy while the strawberry has chunks of strawberries. The container we got had mostly vanilla and chocolate flavors. I liked all three flavors together, but you could eat them separately if you need to! 

Chocolate Peanut Butter Overload

This is a rotating/seasonal flavor. The ice cream is flavored chocolate and has chunks of peanut butter cookie dough and peanut butter chocolate pieces. I thought the peanut butter cookie dough was the best part! It paired well with the creamy chocolate flavored ice cream. 

Strawberry 

Strawberry isn't my first choice of ice cream, but it is my husband's favorite. The strawberry is a pink ice cream with chunks of actual strawberries mixed in. The flavor reminds me of strawberry milk. It is surprisingly really good! I enjoyed this one just as strawberry, but I loved it in the Neapolitan flavor the best! We have bought a couple of these over the time we have lived in Kentucky! 

Banana Pudding 

The Banana Pudding ice cream was a suggested flavor from a family member who has grown up with Blue Bell. The ice cream is a banana ice cream mixed with vanilla ice cream. There are little pieces of wafer cookies that are soft in the ice cream mixture. The flavors aren't too strong and pair well with the wafers. If you don't need a chocolate fixing then this is the one to go for! I felt like the banana flavor was perfect and it was a refreshing flavor! 

Milk Chocolate 

The Milk Chocolate flavor is literally milk chocolate. The ice cream is brown and so creamy and smooth. I feel like the chocolate flavor doesn't taste too strong and artificial. The creaminess makes it taste just like chocolate milk with an ice cream texture. This is a great option if you are craving a chocolate flavor! I like to add the Magic Shell chocolate on this one to add a little texture. 

Natural Vanilla Bean

I was so impressed with the Vanilla Bean flavor of Blue Bell Ice Cream. It was creamy and had the perfect vanilla flavor. We ate ours at Thanksgiving with apple pie and it was the perfect combo. It is yummy plain too! This will be my go-to ice cream for cobblers and pies for sure!

Butter Crunch

Butter Crunch is a Butterfinger candy in a vanilla ice cream. The chunks of candy were soft with a little bit of the Butterfinger crispy bites. The chocolate chunks added to the texture and flavor in a good way. I liked the candy with the vanilla ice cream base. It was on the sweeter side, but had good flavor. It brought me right back to my childhood of eating Butterfingers. 

Cookies 'n Cream 

The Cookies 'n Cream ice cream is one of my favorites! The ice cream is creamy and the chunks of cookies were soft and had little frosting chunks that were so good! There was a lot of flavor and cookies. I could have eaten the whole container in one sitting! The flavor on this one isn't too sweet, but was creamy and good! I would get this one over and over again! 

Cookie Two Step

Cookie Two Step is such a fun ice cream flavor! It has cookies and cream mixed with Cookie Dough with a vanilla ice cream base. It has good textures with them both mixed together. This is one of my favorite flavors. It is the best of both worlds having two flavors together. The chocolate chips in the cookie dough gives it a good crunch and the chocolate cookie pieces give it a good chocolate flavor.
